Welcome to the new Worsley Chess Club website.
Our chess club is situated near Walkden town centre at Walkden Cricket Club in Harriet Street.
We meet on a Wednesday at 7-30pm.
All ages are welcome, current membership ranges from 8 to 80!
We run teams in the local leagues, organise an annual club championship and play social/friendly games between members.
Everyone is welcome, we are a friendly club and the playing strength of our members ranges from beginner to average club player, so no one should feel intimidated. Everyone should find a similar strength player.
